Eyonex Glass is a Berlin-based specialized photonic integrator, developing customer-specific glass integration and packaging solutions for photonic, sensing, and quantum systems. These systems support applications across energy, mobility, datacenter and telecommunications technology, medical technology, aerospace, and industrial sensing.
Our platform integrates optical and electrical structures, precise alignment, and protection in harsh environments within compact glass packages. We support projects from simulation and interface design through glass processing, fabrication, assembly, metrology, and testing.
Current development paths include photonic assemblies for co-packaged optics, alongside glass packaging solutions for quantum sensing and computing. These capabilities also support applications across energy, mobility, telecommunications, medical technology, aerospace, and industrial sensing.
Our multidisciplinary, growing team combines photonic engineering, process development, intellectual property, commercialization, product quality and market positioning, supported by dedicated laboratory and cleanroom capabilities.

CO-FOUNDERS
Philipp Wachholz - CEO
Philipp leads the development and industrialization of Eyonex’s glass photonics platform. He brings more than 8 years of experience in photonic integration, advanced packaging, and glass process development, including waveguides, thin-film metallization, bonding and laser processing. He has led R&D and industrial projects from ideation to delivery to clients and has diverse team experience. His background combines hands-on cleanroom engineering, process qualification, technical project leadership, inventor, and industrial product management.
Elena Blair - CSO
Elena leads Eyonex’s technology, intellectual property, and go-to-market strategy. She directs the company’s IP roadmap and freedom-to-operate activities, while structuring strategic partnerships and negotiating collaboration agreements, contracts, and NDAs. She also shapes the niche-market sizing and validation frameworks. Elena brings 7 years of international technology and business strategy experience across Europe, China and the United States. She has a chemical engineering background, is a co-inventor on issued US and Chinese patents, and holds a Tsinghua-MIT Global MBA.
Kiril Krafft - CMO
Kiril leads Eyonex’s market positioning, brand, external communications, and business engagement. He combines a background in business communication and media production with more than a decade of experience in hardware and software quality, testing, and B2B operations. This technical foundation enables him to translate complex photonic technologies into clear, credible communication for customers, partners, and investors.
